Revamped EFDS website goes live.
The challenge was to ensure the site continued to be a hub of useful information whilst being re-designed to focus on two principal elements; supporting the inclusion of more sports activities and encouraging disabled people to take part in these activities.
For providers, as well as the regular news features, the site offers pages on programmes, research and resources. For disabled people and their networks, the site shares activity listings, local contacts and information on Inclusive Fitness Initiative Mark accredited facilities. As a charity, EFDS also wanted to improve their fundraising features.
We’re also delighted at the accessibility report from AbilityNet who commended the design and development of the new site.
Sarah Marl, Marketing and Communications Manager, who looked after the project for EFDS, said:
We began our relationship with tictoc for our last website in 2012. As technology changes rapidly, we have to be able to adapt to the new environments that we all live and work in. We had no hesitation in working with tictoc on our new site.
One of our core messages is about inclusive communications and we value our suppliers with expertise on accessibility. It is our most important information source and tictoc appreciate the requirements in website design. With the added support from AbilityNet in design and testing, we hope many more users see the improvement in our digital platform.
